CHASE KING OF
DEPAUW UNIVERSITY has been selected the SCAC
Character & Community Male Student-Athlete-of-the-Week for the
week ending March 21, 2010.
A junior on the
men’s golf team, King is
a Biology Major at DePauw and is also working on a
minor in Kinesiology.
King has earned varsity letters each of his first
two years and was an SCAC Academic Honor Roll selection in
2009.
He served on the University's Sophomore Leadership Committee which
helped develop community on campus, and is also a member of
DePauw's Student-Athlete Advisory Board.
King's volunteer efforts include serving as a
campus representative for TOMS Shoes, which is an organization that
provides shoes to children in need.
