KYLE LINTELMAN
OF AUSTIN COLLEGE has been selected the SCAC
Character & Community Male Student-Athlete-of-the-Week for the
week ending February 21, 2010.
A senior from Garland, Texas, Lintelman will
graduate in May with degrees in both Business Administration and
Sports Medicine.
A starting guard and team captain for the ‘Roos men's
basketball team, Lintelman was named to the SCAC
all-Academic honor roll from 2007-2009 as well as to Who's Who
Among America's College Students this year. He also serves on the
Austin College Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and has since
2007.
Lintelman has served on mission trips to Germany,
China and Ecuador and is active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes
at Austin College where he serves as Vice President and Activities
Coordinator.
Lintelman has also participated in the Saturday
Morning Program for Children - where he has led and instructed
children from the Sherman area in playing games and completing arts
and crafts one Saturday morning each semester.
He also participates in FUSE Collegiate Ministries as a
chaplain.
