LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -
 All nine Southern Collegiate Women’s Soccer teams were in action last week as the league closed out its designated non-conference portion of the schedule, highlighted by Centenary, Trinity and St. Thomas all posting perfect weekly records.

Centenary (8-0) remained the lone undefeated team in the SCAC as the Ladies continued their best start in program history following three victories last week, knocking off Hendrix, 3-1, Austin College, 3-0, and Dallas (3-4-1), 2-1. Centenary has now outscored its opponents, 14-4, over its last five games. Senior midfielder Migui Boldrin scored four goals and added two assists to lead the Ladies with 10 points on the week. Boldrin has now scored in seven of the teams opening eight games and currently leads the SCAC with nine goals.

Trinity (6-2) defeated Southwestern, 6-0, in its lone game of the week last Sunday. Molly Sheridan was credited with the game-winning goal as the Tigers had six different goal scorers on the afternoon.

Despite the loss to Trinity, Southwestern (8-2) closed the week with a 1-1 record picking up a 5-1 win over Schreiner (4-5-2). Freshman Alexis Guajardo collected her second game-winning goal of the season when she found the back of the net in the 24th minute.

Texas Lutheran (5-3-1) split a pair of matches last week, falling to UT Rio Grande Valley midweek before bouncing back to defeat Schreiner on Sunday, 3-0. TLU outshot Schreiner, 15-4, and improved to 5-0 on the year when taking 10 or more shots in a fixture. Junior Mariela Candelario scored the game-winner for the Bulldogs, finishing off her chance in the 40th minute of the match.

St. Thomas (3-3-1) is currently riding a three-game winning streak following victories over Dallas, 3-0, and Austin College (2-6-1), 6-1. Senior forward Katarina Maksimov scored four goals and added two assists for a total of 10 points to lead the Celts. Maksimov was credited with the game-winner in the victory over the Crusaders and now has 30 goals in her career.

Johnson & Wales (2-7) dropped its lone game of the week, falling to Nebraska Wesleyan on Sunday, 5-0.

SCAC Women’s Soccer action continues this week as the conference portion of the schedule officially opens up with four fixtures scheduled for Friday and three more contests slated for Sunday.
