LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - All seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's cross country teams assembled this past Saturday in Round Rock, Texas as the 2016 SCAC Women's Cross Country Championship was contested at Old Settlers Park.

Colorado College senior Leah Wessler paced the Tiger harriers as she earned her third SCAC Women's Runner-of-the-Year award with a first-place finishing time of 21:54.16. Wessler, from Ashland, Ore., became just the third female runner in league history to win three straight individual titles, joining Nicole Horvath of Rhodes College (1995-97) and Natalie Shaffer of DePauw University (2002-04).
