LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Five of the league's seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's cross country teams were in action this past week.
Austin College and the University of Dallas competed at the East Texas Baptist University Invitational, with the 'Roos finishing fifth in the 12 team field and UD coming in 10th.
At the Southwest Texas Junior College Invitational, Texas Lutheran University took the team title, putting up a perfect score of 15.
Trinity University finished eighth in a field of 40 teams at the Chile Pepper XC Festival hosted by the University of Arkansas. The DII field was made up of teams from NCAA Division II, III and NAIA.
Colorado College finished in 10th place at the Metro State Invitational, behind mostly NCAA Division II competition.
