SARA BOWEN OF RHODES COLLEGE, a senior utility player from Nolensville, Tenn., has been selected the SCAC Softball Co-Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 28 through Sunday, April 3

Bowen hit .714 on the weekend (10-for-14) with three doubles, a home run, nine RBIs, and eight runs scored. Including a fielder’s choice and an error, Bowen reached base safely in all but three of her plate appearances on the weekend. Her three doubles give her 42 for her career, tying the career record for Rhodes.  Bowen is hitting .357 on the season with four HR and a team leading 31 RBIs.
