JACLYN HERRERA OF HENDRIX COLLEGE, a senior first baseman from Mount Vernon, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Softball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, February 28 through Sunday, March 6.

Herrera had an impressive weekend at the plate.  She helped lead the Warriors to three wins in the 2011 Warrior Spring Fling, including a win over No. 19 Washington University on Sunday.  Herrera 10-of-15 including three doubles, a homer, seven runs scored and nine RBI. She posted a .667 batting average and 1.067 slugging percentage.  She currently ranks first in the SCAC with 19 hits and six doubles and second with one homer and 16 RBI.
