JEN KOSINSKI
OF DEPAUW UNIVERSITY, a senior second baseman from
Northbrook, Ill., has been selected the SCAC Softball Offensive
Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 14 through
Sunday, March 20.
Kosinski had an impressive week at the plate
guiding the DU Tigers to a 5-1 record including three conference
wins over Rhodes. She batted .650 on the week (13-for-20) scoring
nine runs, knocking in 16 RBIs with a 1.150 slugging
percentage.
Kosinski hit four doubles and two home runs
with a .696 on base percentage. Kosinski hit
safely in all six games and drove in at least one run in all six.
In the four game conference series against Rhodes,
Kosinski went 9-for-16 with 13 RBIs including a
4-for-4 performance with five RBIs in Sunday’s first
contest.
