Jacob Toland of The University of the Ozarks, a senior from North Little Rock, Ark., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week for his performance during the week spanning January 28 through February 3.
Toland was stellar in the pool over the weekend, picking up two victories for the Eagles in their senior day dual against Henderson State and breaking a pair of school records in the process. The veteran opened the meet by leading-off the winning 200 medley relay with a 26.65 split. Individually, Toland earned a victory in the 100 back completing the race in a career-best and program record time 57.89. Toland also claimed another school record in the 100 IM finishing in 59.47. In the Eagles' dual with Williams Baptist on Friday, Toland took the 200 free in 1:55.67.
