Miguel Vasquez of Centenary College, a freshman from Lafayette, La., has been selected the SCAC Co-Men’s Swimmer of the Week for his performance during the week spanning October 29th through November 4th.
Vasquez was outstanding individually and as part of a unit after besting opponents at the Hendrix College Classic in the 200 back which he completed in 2:00.52 and earning a relay victory in the 400 medley (3:17.14).
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC
Freshman Joe Coppernoll from University of the Ozarks helped the Eagles swim to victory in the 3x500 free with a combined time of 5:11.7. at the Hendrix College relays. Coppernoll also earned an indivual win at the Hendrix College Classic in the 1000 free after finishing the race in 10:20.56.
