RYAN MILNE OF COLORADO
COLLEGE, a senior guard from Phoenix, Ariz.,
has been selected the SCAC Men’s Basketball
Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, December 16th
through Sunday, January 5th.
Milne averaged 28.5 points, 5.33
rebounds and 4.67 assists while leading Colorado College to a 2-1
record on the road. He made 29 of 55 (.527) shots from the floor,
including a 12-of-28 (.429) performance from 3-point range, and
sank 15 of 18 free throws (.833).
Milne scored 21 points grabbed eight
rebounds and dished out four assists to help CC overcome a 14-point
deficit during an 82-75 victory in double overtime at Lehman
College.
Two days later, he poured in a career-high 38 points, but
the Tigers dropped a 93-90 decision in overtime at Babson
College. Milne also dished
out four assists to take over sole possession of second place on
the program’s all-time chart with 379.
Milne posted a game-high 26 points and
had six assists as Colorado College opened conference play with a
78-66 victory at Dallas.
Milne, who surpassed the 20-point mark for
the fourth game in a row and the sixth time this season, became the
ninth Tiger to score 1,300 or more career points. He tied his
season high with five 3-point buckets and climbed into sixth place
on the program’s all-time list with 181.
