SPUD DICK OF DEPAUW UNIVERSITY, a 5-11, 190-pound junior quarterback from Indianapolis, Ind., has been named the SCAC Football Offensive Players-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, October 11.
 
Dick completed 37 of 45 passes (82.2%) for 395 yards, which were all career highs. He threw for two touchdowns as well, as the Tigers outlasted Birmingham-Southern 31-21. In the second half alone, Dick connected on 20 of 23 passes for 261 yards for a 196.63 efficiency rating. His 37 completions were five off the SCAC record of 42 set by Jared Tharpe of Rose-Hulman Oct. 6, 2001.
