RYAN
MILNE OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior
guard from Phoenix, Ariz., has been selected the SCAC Men’s
Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday,
November 25th through Sunday, December 1st.
Milne averaged 20 points and five
assists per game while leading Colorado College to a pair of
victories in the 2013 ACM Classic at Reid Arena last
weekend.
He was named tournament MVP for the second week in a
row.
During Friday’s 71-77 overtime victory against
Carleton
College, Milne poured in 17
of his game-high 25 points in the second half to help the Tigers
wipe out a six-point halftime deficit, and he scored four more in
overtime to clinch the triumph.
In Sunday’s 81-65 win over No. 16
Whitworth, Milne, who scored 15
points and dished out six assists with no turnovers. It was
Colorado College’s second win over a ranked Whitworth team
this season.
During that
contest, Milne climbed into
10th place on the program’s all-time scoring list with 1,178
points and up to seventh with 166 three-point buckets.
