JONATHAN BLOUNT OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a senior guard from Shreveport, La., has been selected the SCAC Men's Basketball Co-Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, November 18th through Sunday, November 24th.

Blount was terrific all weekend long, averaged 26.3 points during the Gents three games in five days to pace Centenary to a 2-1 record. 

Blount is 30 points away from breaking the 1,000-career-point plateau. 

He scored 28 points on 8-of-11 shooting including four threes in the win over LSU-Shreveport and followed that up with a 27 points performance (7-of-10 FG) against East Texas Baptist and a 24 point performance (9-of-14 FG) in the win over Louisiana College.

Blount ranked third on the team in rebounds with 12, including 11 on the defensive end. The senior shot 68.6-percent from the field, 66.7 from behind the arc and was 23-of-26 from the charity stripe.
