  • SCAC announces Spring 2010 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll

    SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) named a record 1,077 student-athletes to the 2010 SCAC Spring Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday. This year's total eclipsed last year's previous record of 1,029 student-athletes.

    COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Colo. – Nick Rose of the Colorado College men’s basketball team has been selected as a member of the USA D-3 Basketball All-Star Team that will play five games during a tour of Brazil in early August.

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Mike DeGeorge has been named Rhodes Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Coach DeGeorge most recently served as the Head Basketball Coach at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, where he transformed the Cornell program from three wins in 2005-06 to 21 wins in 2008-09.
  • Priest resigns as men’s hoops coach; McCracken selected to take the reigns

    CONWAY, Ark. -- Dan Priest has resigned after six seasons as the Hendrix College head men’s basketball coach and will return to his home state of Ohio to continue his coaching career. Former women’s head coach and assistant men’s coach, Thad McCracken {pictured}, will take over the reigns of the Hendrix men’s program.

It is the fifth consecutive all-sports trophy for the Tigers.
