RYAN MILNE OF
COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore guard from Phoenix,
Ariz., has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games
played Monday, February 13 through Sunday, February 19.
Milne led Colorado College to a pair of wins over
Johnson & Wales and Hendrix over the weekend.
He averaged 25.5 points/game and 8.5 assists/game over the
weekend, hitting 16-31 (51.6%) from the field and 13-15 (86.7%)
from the free throw line. He tallied over an 8 to 1 assists to
turnover ratio during the week.
In Wednesday’s win over Johnson & Wales, Milne scored 31 points on 9 of 15 shooting (60%) while shooting 6 of 12 (50%) from 3-point range. He also added four assists and a steal.
In Saturday’s win over Hendrix, Milne tallied a double-double by scoring 20 points and handing out 13 assists. He shot just under 44% the field and added two rebounds and a steal.
