ANDREW GALOW
OF RHODES COLLEGE, a junior guard from Oswego,
Ill., has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games
played Monday, November 28 through Sunday, December 4.
Galow helped Rhodes to a 2-0 week with two
Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference wins where he averaged 15.5
points, five rebounds, two assists and 1.5 steals per game for the
Lynx. He also shot 45.5 percent (10 of 22) from the floor during
the week.
Against Sewanee, Galow scored 14 points on 5
of 9 shooting including 2 of 4 from 3-point range in a 77-62
win.
In the Lynx’s 72-58 win over defending conference champion Centre, Galow scored 17 points to go along with nine rebounds and added three steals as Rhodes improved to 5-2 on the season.
It was Rhodes' first victory over Centre since the 2003-04 season.
