TYLER CERONE
OF OGLETHORPE UNIVERSITY, a
senior from Roswell, Ga., has been selected the SCAC Character
& Community Male Student-Athlete-of-the-Week for the week
ending March 4, 2012.
Cerone is one of the finest student-athletes
Oglethorpe has to offer. A three-point shooting marksman on the
men’s basketball team, he also excels in the classroom
where he carries an excellent overall GPA.
In the community, Cerone volunteers his time with
the Brookhaven Boys and Girls Club where he helps mentor young
kids. Additionally, he has been working an internship in this his
senior year with Oglethorpe's future conference, the Southern
Athletic Association.
