Trinity's D'Ann Arthur lone SCAC Women's Track & Cross Country Academic All-District honoree
June 08, 2009TOWSON, Md. - Trinity University senior D'Ann Arthur was named to the 2009 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Women's Track and Cross Country team. She was the lone Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference student-athlete named to the team.

Veteran Andy Till tabbed as first full-time cross country coach at Millsaps

March 18, 2009NEW ORLEANS, La. - The SCAC had eight women's cross country teams receive the 2008 USTFCCA All-Academic Team Award. Only the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the New England Small College Athletic Conference had more teams receive the award.

Trinity's Arthur Wins NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship
February 26, 2009SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Trinity University senior women's cross country runner D'Ann Arthur of Colleyville, Texas, has been awarded a $7,500 NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. Arthur, who plans to attend medical school, is the 29th Trinity student-athlete to receive the prestigious award.

Two Trinity Student-Athletes Earn Postgraduate Scholarships
February 25, 2009SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Two Trinity University senior student-athletes have been selected to receive the NCAA Ethnic Minority and Women's Enhancement Postgraduate Scholarship for Careers in Athletics. Emily Loeffler was awarded the ethnic minority scholarship and Megan Guest received the women's award.

Record 776 student-athletes highlight SCAC Fall 2008 Academic Honor Roll
January 27, 2009SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) named a record 776 student-athletes to the 2008 SCAC Fall Academic Honor Roll on Tuesday. This year's total eclipsed last year's previous record of 715 student-athletes. Since its inception in the fall of 1997, over 13,700 student-athletes have achieved recognition for their contributions in the classroom.

November 15, 2008SEGUIN, Texas - Trinity University, which had three individuals finish in the top 10, took first place at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional meet held at Texas Lutheran University. With the victory, the Tigers qualify for the NCAA Championship meet at Hanover College on Nov. 22.
