MAGGIE
EMODI OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior
outside hitter from Omaha, Neb., has been selected the SCAC
Volleyball Co-Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from
Monday, October 14th through Sunday, October 20th.
Emodi recorded four consecutive
double-doubles in kills and digs, tallying 50 kills (3.57/set) and
63 digs (4.50/set) to lead the team in both categories.
Emodi also added 10 blocks
(0.71/set) and three service aces for the weekend.
Against 12th-ranked
Eastern, Emodi hit a
blistering .429 (10 kills, 1 error, 21 attacks) to lead Trinity to
a 3-0 victory. She finished the weekend with 20 kills and 27 digs
to lead the Tigers to a 3-2 comeback win over Webster, clinching
the undefeated weekend and the tournament title.
