DEVON LUCERO OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore setter from Pueblo, Colo., has been selected the SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 30th through Sunday, October 6th. 

Lucero was voted MVP of the Molten Volleyball Spike It Up Classic after leading the Tigers to four consecutive victories. Lucero averaged 10.2 assists and 3.08 digs per set as CC won 12 of 13 sets. She had 33 assists, 17 digs and a pair of blocked shots as the Tigers came from behind to defeat Hamline University in Saturday’s first match. 

Lucero came back with 41 assists, 13 digs and three blocks in the sweep of Nebraska Wesleyan University in the championship match. In the first matchup with NWU on Friday, Lucero had six kills on 12 swings and had a hand in three blocked shots.
