SHELBY MOORE OF
BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN COLLEGE, a junior middle
blocker from Baton Rouge, La. has been named SCAC Volleyball
Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday,
September 26 through Sunday, October 2.
Moore was impressive in all three matches this
weekend, recording 42 kills in nine sets (4.7/set) with only two
errors on 67 attempts for a .597 attack percentage for the
weekend.
Against Oglethorpe on Sunday, she had 16 kills and no errors in 20 attempts, hitting .800 to break the BSC single-match record, which has stood since 2000.
Moore also had four service aces, seven blocks, and seven digs this weekend over the three matches.
