AMY SCHORNACK
OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior setter from Plano,
Texas has been named SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week
for matches played from Monday, September 5 through Sunday,
September 11.
Schornack was named tournament MVP for the second
time this season after playing in all 12 sets and helping the
Tigers go undefeated in the 2011 Molten Colorado College
Classic.
She led the team with 121 assists over four games to average 30.3 assists a game while also tallying 42 digs, 24 kills and six blocks over the weekend.
Schornack finished the tournament with her second career triple-double with 22 assists, 13 digs, and a team-high 13 kills along with a team-high .409 hitting percentage to earn the tournament title sweeping Dominican 3-0.
