MADISON MCMAHON OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior outside hitter from Austin, Texas, has been named SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, August 29 through Sunday, September 4.

McMahon posted a .248 hitting percentage while averaging 3.95 kills per set and 2.45 digs while leading the Tigers to a perfect 5-0 record during the opening week of the 2011 season. She led the team in kills in all five matches, including two matches with 20 or more kills.

McMahon totaled 28 kills in a win over Loyola (La.), which is the second-highest total in school history.
