ROSIE WADE OF UNIVERSITY OF THE OZARKS, a senior from Clarksville, Ark., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during meets swam Friday, November 11 to Saturday, November 12. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 5)
Wade won the 1,000 free, 200 fly, and 100 free in 11:30.94, 2:26.87, and 57.03, respectively, in leading the Eagles to victory in Saturday's home dual meet against Austin College. She also came from behind with an anchor of 25.81 to secure the win in the 200 free relay.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Sammi Thiele of Austin College swam the breasstroke in :32.49 to lead the 200 medley relay team and won all three of her individual events in Saturday's meet at University of the Ozarks. She posted first-place swims in the 100 breast (1:10.86), 50 free (26.11), and 200 breast (2:31.97).
