ROBYN REMSCHEL OF McMURRY UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Portland, Maine, has been selected the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer-of-the-Week for meets through Sunday, January 11th.
Remschel was huge for the Warhawks, as she led the McMurry women's swimming team to a team championship at the Austin College Invitational this past weekend.
Remschel won in two of her specialty events, winning the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:01.56 and the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:14.83. She remains unbeaten in those two events.
Additionally, Remschel swam the lead leg in both the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay, as the Warhawks finished second in both events. She also placed third in the 50 free with a time of 26.79.
