MEGAN GILLESPIE OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior from Chicago, Ill., have been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets through Sunday, December 14th.
Gillespie led the Big Cats this past weekend in defeating CSU-Pueblo in a head-to-head matchup, 165-108.
Gillespie opened the meet by combining
with Ellen Silk, Olivia Dilorati, and Justina Zuckerman to win
the 200-medley relay by nearly two seconds in a time of
1:54.65.
Gillespie also turned in three top-three
individual finishes. She led wire-to-wire to win the 200
breaststroke in 2:34.93, then took second in the 200 (2:16.61) and
100 butterfly (1:03.93).
