ELLEN SILK OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a freshman from Portland, Maine, has been selected the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer-of-the-Week for meets through Sunday, December 21.
In a double dual with the University of LaVerne (Calif.) and Austin College, Silk went three for three in her events, earning top finishes across the board.
Silk, who continues to top the SCAC top times in the 100 fly, won the event against both Austin College and LaVerne with a time of 59.55.
Silk also took on a new event, the 200 individual medley, and earned a win with a time of 2:19.52.
She later marked a split time of 25.75 in the Tigers'
200 free relay.
