ALEX ADAMS OF
BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN, freshman forward from Smyrna,
Tenn., has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games
played Monday, February 1 through Sunday, February 7.
Adams scored a career-high 19 points in both of
BSC’s wins this weekend, leading the team in scoring both
times, and pulled down nine rebounds against Oglethorpe and 10
against Sewanee for her second career double-double. She went
15-of-26 (.577) from the field, 2-of-2 from beyond the arc, and
6-of-6 at the free throw line. Adams also recorded
three assists and a block.
On the season Adams is averaging a team high 12.6
points per game to go along with 6.5 rebounds.
