RUDY CALDERON OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Pleasanton, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets run through Sunday, September 25th.
Calderon led the Bulldogs for the second week in a row in a dual meet over Southwestern Assemblies of God.
Calderon finished in third place in the race, posting a time of 16:46 over the 5-kilometer event. This time in a personal best for him.
The Bulldogs will compete this weekend at the Southwest Texas Junior College Invitational in Uvalde, Texas.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman Josh Im of Southwestern University took third place oerall at the Concordia Invitational, posting a time of 28:38 in the 8k race.
