THOMAS HOGAN OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a sophomore from St. Louis, Missouri, has been selected the SCAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets run through Sunday, September 18th.
Hogan led the Crusaders to a second place finish at the Texas Lutheran University Bulldog Invitational Saturday.
Hogan finished the race in second place, but was first among scoring college runners. He posted a time of 16:33 over the 5k distance.
Dallas will take a two week break before heading to the East Texas Baptist University Invitational in Marshall, Texas.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman Tony Calderon of Colorado College finished 76th in the 8k at the Nebraska Wesleyan Invitational, posting a time of 28:11. Junior Rudy Calderon of Texas Lutheran University posted a time of 16:51 in the 5k race at the Texas Lutheran Bulldog Invitational, finishing third overall among collegiate runners.
