WILSON HAMILTON OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a first-year from Austin, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played through Sunday, April 1st.

Hamilton went 2-0 this past week at line one singles and helped the Tigers defeat #31 Kalamazoo and #30 UT-Tyler.

He started the week with a gritty 6-4, 1-6, 7-6 win against Kalamazoo to help the Tigers take a 7-2 victory. Hamilton went on to face the Patriots top singles player (who was the ITA Regional champion in the fall) and took an easy 7-6, 6-1 victory to help the Tigers to another 7-2 victory.

Other outstandings performances in the SCAC:
Alonso Fernandez of Southwestern University went 3-0 this week at #6 singles with wins over Pacific, TLU and Kalamazoo.
