VICTOR ARAUJO OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior midfielder from Salvador, Brazil, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Friday, September 30th through Sunday, October 6th. 

Araujo led Trinity to a weekend sweep in SCAC play, defeating both the University of Dallas and Colorado College to move into second place in the conference standings. 

With the game tied 1-1 at halftime against Colorado College, Araujo provided a huge lift for Trinity by either scoring or assisting on all four of the team’s second half goals. He started with an assist on the game-winner – just 3:49 into the period. He then scored back-to-back goals and assisted on another, with the entire flurry of scoring coming in less than 16 minutes of game time.
