BRANDON
OGILVIE OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior forward from
Manchester Center, Vermont, has been selected the SCAC Men’s
Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Friday,
September 23 through Sunday, September 29.
Ogilvie scored three goals, two of which were
game winners, and added an assist to lead Colorado College to three
victories last week.
Ogilvie scored twice in a 3-1 non-conference
victory at Johnson & Wales University on Wednesday, including
the game winner in the 30th minute. During Friday’s 2-0
triumph at Schreiner, he set up Caden MacKenzie’s second
tally with a little less than 30 minutes to play. Ogilvie finished
the week by scoring the deciding goal on a penalty kick early in
the second half of Sunday’s 2-0 win at Texas
Lutheran.
Ogilvie already has set single-season highs with
five goals and 12 points.
