CODY HEBERT OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for competitions played through Tuesday, October 27.
Hebert earned the honor for the first time this season after leading the Pirates to a second-place finish at the Abilene Intercollegiate hosted by Hardin=Simmon University.
Both the Pirates and Hebert posted Monday's lowest rounds. SU totaled 289 for the day, while Hebert shot a 68 (-3). He copied that score in the second round for a two-day total of 136 (-6).
Hebert finished two shots ahead of the second place finisher, Seger Howell of Concordia (TX).
This is the final fall tournament for the Pirates.
