DIEGO TREVINO OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from The Woodlands, Texas, is named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week for tournaments played through Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
Trevino earned his second Golfer of the Week honor after leading the Tigers in the James S. Litz Memorial hosted by University of the Incarnate Word this week. He finished in sixth place after posting the competition's lowest round through the first day.
Trevino finished the competition with a total mark of 145 (+3), just four shots out of the top spot.
This marks the third top-10 finish of hte season for Trevino, after he placed third in the Alamo City Classic and tied for fifth in the NCAA Tournament Town Championship Preview in the fall.
The Tigers' next competition will be the West Cup hosted by the University of La Verne on March 23-24.
