JAMIE GIBSON OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a senior from Barnsley, England, is named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week for tournaments played through Tuesday, February 24, 2015.
Gibson helped the Gents to a second place finish at the Georgetown College/PGA World Golf Village Invitational this week, posting a top finish.
Gibson fired off a 148 (77, 71) to take first place overall, finishing just one shot ahead of teammate Reese Chance. This is Gibson’s second consecutive first place finish, with his last one coming during the fall season at the University of Arkansas at Monticello Fall Classic.
