JOHN HATCH OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior forward from Lodi, Wisc., has been named the SCAC Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week for games played through Sunday, February 5th.

Hatch led Colorado College in scoring in victories over Centenary and Austin College. He also set a career high with 29 points and had 10 rebounds against the Gents for his third double-double of the season.

Hatch came back with 24 points against Austin College, for his ninth game this season with 20 or more points.

Over the weekend, Hatch also averaged a pair of assists, one steal and three blocked shots. his 26.5 points per game came on 53.1% shooting from the field, and 53.8% from beyond the arc. He also hit 12-of-16 shots from the free-throw line.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman forward Cedric Harris of Centenary College averaged 16.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in two games for the Gents over the weekend. Sophomore guard Prince Giadolor of the University of Dallas shot 58.3% in both games to average 15.5 points this week as UD went 1-1. Senior forward Phillip Kee of Schreiner University averaged 15.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in two games this weekend as the Mountaineers held onto the conference top spot in the standings. Senior forward Zach Whitlock of Southwestern University averaged 13.0 points and seven rebounds last week for the Pirates. Senior guard Sterling Holmes of Texas Lutheran University led the Bulldogs to a pair of conference wins, averaging 21.5 points, five rebounds three assists and one steal. Junior guard Matt Jones of Trinity University led the Tigers to a home wekend split with 9.5 points and eight assists per game.
