RYAN OGDEN OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior forward from Bellaire, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week for games played through Sunday, January 22nd.

Ogden averaged 24 points in three games last week, helping the Pirates to a 3-0 record.

Ogden shot 62.9% from the field, 66.7% from sitance and 78.3% from the free-throw line over the stretch. He also led the team in rebounding with 8.7 per game. In addition, Ogden grabbed 11 assists, two steals and four blocks.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior guard Josh Dickerman of Austin College had a strong weekend for Austin College, averaging 11.0 points per game and
knocking down 47.1% of his field goal attempts and 42.9% of his three pointers in a pair of games. Senior forward James Sapp of Centenary College averaged 31.5 points and 10.0 rebounds on the week after posting a career-high 43 points on 15 field goals in a close game against Texas Lutheran. Senior guard Lorenzo Gonzalez of the University of Dallas helped the Crusaders pick up their first SCAC win behind a career-high 21 points against Trinity. Junior guard Keenan Gumbs of Schreiner University helped lead the Mountaineers to a 2-0 week the road with 13 points, 6.5 rebounds, and six assists per game. Senior guard Sterling Holmes of Texas Lutheran University averaged 19 points, six rebounds and two assists per game to lead the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs to a 2-1 record in road games last week in SCAC play. Junior guard Matt Jones of Trinity University averaged 12.5 points per game over the week, while also tying a season high 21 points in a game against UD.
