SARANYA
PRATHIBHA OF HENDRIX COLLEGE, a sophomore on the
women’s tennis team from Bentonville, Ark., has been has
been selected the SCAC Character & Community Female
Student-Athlete-of-the-Week for the week ending April 15, 2012.
Prathibha participates in many campus
activities, including serving as President of the Hendrix Tennis
Club, a campus organization that teaches tennis and practices with
non student-athletes on campus. She is also a member of
the Hendrix Wind Ensemble and the Warrior Dance Team.
Away from campus, Prathibha is a Volunteer Action
Committee member - which is a committee that does community
service in the Conway community on selected Saturdays.
Last summer, Prathibha worked at Aldersgate
Summer Camp, which is a camp located in central Arkansas that works
with children with disabilities.
