LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- The conference tournament bracket continues to take shape as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's basketball season enters its final week with Southwestern and Colorado College (10-13, 7-8) punching their tickets in week 12. 

Austin College (19-4, 12-2), Trinity (19-4, 12-2) and Texas Lutheran (15-7, 11-2) continued their pursuit for the top slot in the conference tournament, with all three teams going undefeated last week. The Roos' picked up a pair of home wins against Johnson & Wales (2-19, 1-14) and Colorado College. Senior forward Bryce Frank averaged a double-double for the fifth week in a row with 21.5 points and 14.0 rebounds per game on 67.9 percent shooting. Against Colorado College, Frank posted her 52nd career double-double, her 19th this season and 11th straight, tying for the most double-doubles by any women's basketball player since the conference began tracking the stat in the 2001-02 season. AC also had significant contributions from sophomore classmates Reagan Chiaverini and Addison Walling over the weekend. Chiaverini led the league this week in efficiency, draining shooting 73.3 percent (11-for-15) from the field with 14.0 points per game while Walling added 10.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. 

Trinity, which defeated Southwestern 73-64, was led by junior forward Abby Holland who drained 22 points and secured nine rebounds. Three other Tiger starters posted double-digit point totals in the contest: freshman forward Hailey Coleman (12) and sophomore guards Jordan Rudd (14) and Emily Daniel (10). 

Texas Lutheran also presented a balanced attack in its 79-36 victory over Dallas (2-20, 1-12), totaling three different double-digit point scorers. The Bulldogs were paced by sophomore forward Abby Hroch who sank 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Classmate Kasey Hariell and senior guard Bryanna Delgado also contributed 11 points, each.

Centenary (8-15,5-9) was a triple-winner last week, defeating Dallas, Colorado College and Johnson & Wales to keep its postseason hopes alive. Senior guard Jasmine Morris averaged 14.3 points for the Ladies while sophomore forward Haylee Washington collected 12.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. Junior forward Deunya Small was also a dominant rebounder for Centenary, securing 11.3 boards per game. 

Southwestern (9-13, 8-5) clinched its playoff berth on Tuesday with a 61-57 win over Schreiner. A pair of players came off the bench to lead the Pirates with senior forward Tori Carraway contributing 17 points and eight rebounds and freshman guard Courtney Maas adding 16 points and five rebounds.

Scheiner (5-18, 5-9) went on to defeat Dallas to stay in contention for postseason action. Bench scoring was the deciding factor for the Mountaineers against Dallas with freshmen Yasmine Arogunio and Miranda Vallejo draining 17 and 14 points, respectively. Sophomore center Sydney Williams put together a 16-point, six-rebound effort while freshman guard Gabby Ivarra chipped in defensively with 10 boards.

The SCAC women’s basketball schedule concludes this week, highlighted by Texas Lutheran hosting Austin College on Friday in a game that will go a long way toward deciding the top seed in the conference tournament.
