MICHELLE OBERNDORF OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Aurora, Colo., has been selected the SCAC Women's Track Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted from Monday, March 18 through Sunday, March 24.
Oberndorf ran the 5,000 meters at the Bobby Lane Invitational in a time of 17:44.48, posting the fifth-best time in Trinity track & field history. She finished in third place in the event. Her time is currently the second-fastest posted in the event this season, trailing only her teammate Vanessa Moreno.
