LIZA SOUTHWICK OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Nashville, Tenn., has been selected the SCAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week for all matches through Sunday, February 16th.

Southwick has led the Tigers to a 2-3 start to the season, but Trinity won its only Division III match of the season by a 9-0 margin over Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Southwick went 2-3 in singles play and 3-2 in doubles so far this season, and recently moved up to the top line of both singles and doubles for the Tigers.  She is 1-1 in singles and doubles as the team's top line player including a wins over UMHB.
