LIZ RYAN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from San Antonio, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for all meets through Sunday, January 14th.
In the team's first contest after the holiday break, Ryan led the Tigers to a 123-88 win over the University of Puget Sound.
Ryan won the 50 free race with a time of 25.79 seconds, then also posted the best time (1:29.32) in the 150 free. She also finished her leg of the medley relay in just 55.37 seconds.
The Tigers will compete next in a dual meet against Southwestern University.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior Robyn Remschel of McMurry University won both of her individual events in a dual meet with UTPB, winning the 50 backstroke (28.79) and the 500 freestyle (5:42.07).
