ROBYN REMSCHEL OF MCMURRY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Fredericksburg, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for all meets through Sunday, January 7th.
Remschel participated in the Austin College Invitational last week, a meet consisting of NCAA Division II and Division III teams.
Remschel won two of her three individual events, including the 100 backstroke (1:00.89) and the 200 backstroke (2:13.40). Remschel also finished second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 26.34 seconds.
Swimming the lead-off leg in the 400 free relay, Remschel led the team to a third place finish with a split of 58.56 seconds.
