MABEL FOWLER OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Uvalde, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for all meets through Sunday, November 5th.
Fowler won three individual events and was part of a winning relay in her first meet of the season against Division II UT-Permian Basin on Saturday.
She was the lead swimmer of the winning 200 medley relay that finished in 1:53.98. Fowler swam the 200 free in 2:00.12, the 200 back in 2:09.57, and the 1000 free in 10:56.10 on Saturday, taking the gold in all three races. She is now holds the top times in the SCAC in all three events.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Sarah Dunbar of Colorado College won the 50 free in 25.58 and the 100 free in 55.72, and then finished out the day leading off the winning 400 free relay in 55.83.
