JENNIFER WHITE
OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore defender from
Albuquerque, N.M., has been named the SCAC Women's Soccer Defensive
Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 24
through Sunday, October 30.
White led the Tiger defense in recording three shutouts to
finish off the regular season, going nearly 300 minutes without
allowing a goal for the week. White and the
defense gave up exactly one shot on goal in each game, and allowed
just six shots total in the three games played.
For the season, White and the Tiger defense have
recorded a total of 15 shutouts in 18 games played, allowing just
3.3 shots/game overall.
