EMILY BACHERT OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a freshman from Bowling Green, Ky., has been named SCAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played from Monday, March 16 through Sunday, March 22.

Bachert finished 2nd to last years winner at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational. After leading the first two days (77-79) by five strokes Bachert ran into a little trouble with the high winds to finish the final round with an 84.

This was the first time Bachert has played the Mounds Course at Jekyll finishing with a three day total of 240.
