MARISA MAULDIN OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior from Utopia, Texas, has been named SCAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played through Sunday, March 8.

Mauldin, the two-time defending SCAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Year, tied for 12th at the St. Edward's Invitational, March 2-3, as the Southwestern team finished in ninth place among a field comprised largely of Division II and NAIA teams.

Mauldin shot a 75 in the first round and was in third place going into the final day. However, after a difficult second day - in blustery conditions - the senior finished in a tie for 12th and a two-day total 162 after a second round 87.
