REYGAN RODRIGUEZ OF SCHREINER UNIVERSITY, a senior from Odessa, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played from Wednesday, March 4 through Tuesday, March 10.
Rodriguez was the top individual finisher among SCAC competitors at the 11-team Schriener Spring Shootout, finishing in a tie for second place in the 52-player field with a 159 (+15). Her second round 79 was one of just seven sub-80 rounds at the tournament as she led the Mountaineers to a seventh place team finish.

First-year golfer Xaviera Urrabazo of St. Thomas paced the Celts with rounds of 84 and 83 for a 167 (+23), good for a tie for 11th in the Schreiner Spring Shootout. Senior Erin Rostro of Centenary posted a top 20 individual finish with a two-day total of 184 at the BSN Sports Dataw Invite. First-year golfer Kaylei Richardson of Dallas carded a score of 191 (95-96) as she tied 43rd overall at the Schreiner Spring Shootout.
